अद्रोह: सर्वभूतेषु कर्मणा मनसा गिरा । अनुग्रहश्च दानं च शीलमेतत् प्रशस्यते
adrohaḥ sarvabhūteṣu karmaṇā manasā girā | anugrahaś ca dānaṃ ca śīlam etat praśasyate ||
ドリタラーシュトラは言った。「いかなる生きとし生けるものにも害意を抱かぬこと――行いにおいても、心においても、言葉においても――そして慈しみをもって恵み、力の及ぶかぎり施しをすること。これが śīla（品性・善き行い）と呼ばれ、万人に称えられる。」
