Shloka 115

Gratitude, Discernment, and the Escalation of Power (Śvā–Dvipī–Vyāghra–Nāga–Siṃha–Śarabha Itihāsa)

iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi antargate rājadharmānuśāsanaparvaṇi ekaśatapañcadaśatamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ abhavat

Educational Q&A

This line functions as a colophon marking the end of a chapter within the royal-dharma instruction section; it reinforces that the surrounding discourse is framed as authoritative guidance on ethical kingship and governance (rājadharma) within the Śānti Parva.

The text signals the completion of Adhyāya 115 in the Rājadharmānuśāsana portion of the Śānti Parva, indicating a formal pause/closure in Bhīṣma’s ongoing instruction.
