Śānti Parva 116: Criteria for Royal Servants and Administrative Competence (भृत्य-गुण-प्रश्नः / राजसेवक-लक्षणम्)
त्वत्त: कुलहितं वाक्यं श्रुत्वा राज्यहितोदयम् । अमृतस्याव्ययस्येव तृप्त: स्वप्स्याम्यहं सुखम्
tvattāḥ kulahitaṃ vākyaṃ śrutvā rājyahitodayam | amṛtasyāvyayasyeva tṛptaḥ svapsyāmy ahaṃ sukham ||
ユディシュティラは言った。「あなたの口から、一族のためになり、王国の安泰をもたらす言葉を聞けば、私は尽きぬ甘露に満たされたかのように満ち足りよう。その満足のうちに、安らかに眠ることができる。」
