इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत शान्तिपर्वके अन्तर्गत राजधमनुशासनपर्वमें गणराज्यका बर्तावविषयक एक सौ सातवाँ अध्याय पूरा हआ
iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi antargate rājadharmānuśāsanaparvaṇi gaṇarājyasya vartāva-viṣayaka ekaśata-saptamo 'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ
かくして、尊き『マハーバーラタ』のシャーンティ・パルヴァに属するラージャダルマ・アヌシャーサナ章において、共和的政体の行動規範と統治を論じた第百七章は終わる。この章の結びは、集団統治の権力が規律、合法の手続、そして倫理的抑制によって導かれねばならず、権力は派閥の利ではなく公共善に奉仕すべきである、というビーシュマの教誨が完結したことを告げる。
