Gaṇānāṃ Vṛttiḥ — On the Sustenance and Cohesion of Assemblies
Gaṇa-nīti
भेदे गणा विनेशुर्हि भिन्नास्तु सुजया: परै: | तस्मात् संघातयोगेन प्रयतेरन् गणा: सदा
bhede gaṇā vineśur hi bhinnās tu sujayāḥ paraiḥ | tasmāt saṅghātayogena prayateran gaṇāḥ sadā ||
ビーシュマは言った。「まことに、同盟や共和の衆（ガナ）は内なる分裂によって滅びる。いったん割れれば、敵はたやすくこれを征服する。ゆえに、諸族と議会は常に結束し、共通の目的と一つの決意に結ばれて勝利を求めよ。」
