आदर्श इव शुद्धात्मा शारदश्नन्द्रमा यथा । नास्मिन्‌ पश्यामि वृजिन सर्वतो मे परीक्षित:

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | ādarśa iva śuddhātmā śāradaś candramā yathā | nāsmin paśyāmi vṛjinaṁ sarvato me parīkṣitaḥ |

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「彼の内なる心は鏡のように清らかで、秋の月のように輝いている。私はあらゆる方法で彼を試したが、そこに罪も道徳の汚れも見いだせぬ。」
