उपयाता नरव्याप्रा: पञ्चालाश्न यशस्विन: । इसी प्रकार समरांगणमें विजयसे सुशोभित होनेवाले शूरवीर पुरुषसिंह पाण्डव और यशस्वी पांचाल वीर आपकी सेनाके समीप आ पहुँचे
sañjaya uvāca | upayātā naravyāprāḥ pañcālāś ca yaśasvinaḥ |
サンジャヤは言った。「戦場にあって敏活に働き、名声高きパンチャーラの者たちが進み出て近づいた。同じく、戦場の勝利の兆しに輝く獅子のごとき英雄パーンダヴァらも、名高いパンチャーラの勇士たちとともに、汝の軍勢へ迫った。」
