अताडयच्छड्खदेशे न चचालाचलोपम: । पास पहुँचकर उस भयंकर पराक्रमी महामनस्वी वीरने महामना भीमसेनके ललाटपर गदासे आघात किया, परंतु भीमसेन पर्वतके समान अविचलभावसे खड़े रह गये, तनिक भी विचलित नहीं हुए
atāḍayac chaṅkhadeśe na cacālācalopamaḥ |
サンジャヤは言った。「彼は額のあたりを打ったが、ビーマセーナは山のごとく微動だにしなかった。英雄の決意を揺さぶるはずの一撃は、むしろビーマの不動の忍耐をあらわにした。力で勝利を求める一騎討ちの苛烈な掟の中で、真の偉大さは揺るがぬ勇気にこそ示されるのである。」
