Commencement of the Mace-Duel Proceedings
सो<वतीर्याचलश्रेष्ठात् प्लक्षप्रस्रनणाच्छुभात्
so’vatīryācalśreṣṭhāt plakṣaprasravaṇāc chubhāt | tīrthasevanamahat phalaṁ śrutvā prītamanāḥ punar acyuto balarāmo brāhmaṇān samīpam etad gāthāślokam agāyat ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。最上の山、吉祥なるプラクシャ・プラスラヴァナの峰から降りて、アチュタたるバララーマは、ティールタ（聖なる渡し場）巡礼の大いなる功徳を聞いて心喜び、バラモンたちのもとへ近づき、この詩句を歌い上げた。
