वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical value of receptive assent: when addressed appropriately, one may accept what is offered and thereby attain inner satisfaction—suggesting that right speech and right response can restore harmony even amid conflict.
In Vaiśampāyana’s narration, a person who has just been spoken to accepts what was proposed or requested, and as a result experiences great joy—marking a moment of agreement and emotional resolution within the unfolding events.
