एतदिच्छाम्यहं श्रोतुं परं कौतूहलं हि मे । इसके बाद धैर्यवान्‌ असितने उन लोकोंमें रहनेवाले ब्रह्मययाजी सिद्धों और साधु पुरुषोंसे हाथ जोड़कर विनीतभावसे पूछा--“महात्माओ! मैं महातेजस्वी जैगीषव्यको अब देख नहीं रहा हूँ। आप उनका पता बतावें। मैं उनके विषयमें सुनना चाहता हूँ। इसके लिये मेरे मनमें बड़ी उत्कण्ठा है”

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「これを聞きたい。わたしの好奇はまことに深い。」そこで不動のアシタは合掌し、恭しく、その諸世界に住む梵祭を修するシッダたちと聖なる人々に問いかけた。「大いなる魂の方々よ。いまや、威光赫々たるジャイギーシャヴヤが見えぬ。どうか彼の所在を告げよ。彼について聞きたいのだ。わが心は切なる渇望に満ちている。」
