उग्र॑ तेपे तप: कृष्णा भर्तृणामर्थसिद्धये । निक्षिप्य मान॑ दर्प च वासुदेवसहोदरा

Transliteration

ugraṁ tepe tapaḥ kṛṣṇā bhartṝṇām arthasiddhaye | nikṣipya mānaṁ darpaṁ ca vāsudeva-sahodarā ||

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。ヴァースデーヴァの妹クリシュナー（ドラウパディー）は、夫たちの目的成就のために苛烈な苦行を修めた。誇りと驕りを投げ捨て、厳しい自制の規律を受け入れて、彼らの成功を確かなものとした。
