Transliteration

Janamejaya uvāca: atyadbhutam idaṁ brahman śrutavān asmi tattvataḥ | abhiṣekaṁ kumārasya vistareṇa yathāvidhi ||

Translation

ジャナメージャヤは言った。「おお婆羅門よ。いま私は、王子の灌頂（アビシェーカ）が正しい作法に従って執り行われた、そのきわめて驚異なる次第を、真実のままに、しかも詳らかに、あなたの口から聞き終えた。私はこの物語を、受け取るべきとおりに――真実として、また十分な詳述として――受け取ったのである。」
