Kapālamocana-tīrtha (Auśanasa) and Balarāma’s Sarasvatī Pilgrimage

पितामहस्य महतो वर्तमाने महामखे । वितते यज्ञवाटे च संसिद्धिषु द्विजातिषु,एक समयकी बात है, पुष्करतीर्थमें महात्मा ब्रह्माजीका एक महान्‌ यज्ञ हो रहा था। उनकी विस्तृत यज्ञशालामें सिद्ध ब्राह्मण विराजमान थे। पुण्याहवाचनके निर्दोष घोष तथा वेदमन्त्रोंकी ध्वनिसे सारा यज्ञमण्डप गूँज रहा था और सम्पूर्ण देवता उस यज्ञ-कर्मके सम्पादनमें व्यस्त थे

vaiśampāyana uvāca | pitāmahasya mahato vartamāne mahāmakhe | vitate yajñavāṭe ca saṃsiddhiṣu dvijātiṣu ||

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「偉大なる祖父(ブラフマー)が壮大な祭祀を執り行い、祭場が広く設けられて万端整えられ、成就した二度生まれの祭官たちが列座していたとき、祭壇一帯は清浄にして瑕なき『プンニャーハ』の吉祥宣言と、ヴェーダ真言の反響とで鳴りわたり、諸天はみな心を定めて、その供犠の作法を遂行することに忙しく立ち働いていた。」
