Kapālamocana-tīrtha (Auśanasa) and Balarāma’s Sarasvatī Pilgrimage
इति सप्तसरस्वत्यो नामतः परिकीर्तिता:
iti saptasarasvatyo nāmataḥ parikīrtitāḥ
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「かくして、七つのサラスヴァティーは名を挙げて語り終えられた。」

The verse underscores the Mahābhārata’s reverence for sacred geography: naming holy rivers is itself a form of remembrance and transmission of dharmic tradition, linking narrative history with places of pilgrimage and ritual purity.
The speaker concludes a preceding list by stating that the seven Sarasvatī rivers have now been enumerated by name, marking a transition point after a catalog of sacred river-identities.
