Transliteration

tatra modanti devāś ca pitaraś ca savīrudhaḥ

Translation

そこでは神々と祖霊（ピトリ）が歓喜し、また生い茂るものすべて――草木や植生――も共に喜んでいた。すなわちそこは吉祥にして命を養う場、宇宙の秩序と祖先の秩序とが満たされる境域（あるいは時）であった。
