तत्र दत्त्वा हलधरो विप्रेभ्यो विविधं वसु

Transliteration

tatra dattvā haladharo viprebhyo vividhaṃ vasu, prayayau sahito vipraiḥ stūyamānaś ca mādhavaḥ |

Translation

そこでハラダラ（バララーマ）は、ブラーフマナたちに種々の財を施し、彼らを伴ってその地を発った。その折、マーダヴァは称賛の声を受けていた。この場面は、学識ある客人を厚い贈与と饗応によって敬うべき徳を示し、満ち足りたブラーフマナたちの祝福と讃歌の中でバララーマが旅立つさまを描き出す。
