vartamāne mahāyajñe tritasya sumahātmanaḥ

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。高徳なるトリタの大いなる祭祀が進行しているさなか、物語はその厳粛なヤジュニャのただ中で展開する出来事へと移る。そこでは儀礼の秩序と道義の意図が、これより後に続くすべてを形づくっていた。
