Transliteration

pṛthivīṃ dātukāmo 'pi jīvitena vimokṣyase |

Translation

ユディシュティラは言った。「たとえ今、お前が大地を与えようと望んでも、その代価は命となろう。愚かさゆえに分別を失ったのだ。だからこそ、お前は理解しない――今日、土地を譲る意志があっても、自らの命を失うことから逃れられぬのだ。」
