न त्वेतदद्भधुतं वीरा यद्‌ वो महदिदं मनः । अस्मासु च परा भक्तिर्न तु काल: पराक्रमे

Transliteration

na tv etad adbhutaṃ vīrā yad vo mahad idaṃ manaḥ | asmāsu ca parā bhaktir na tu kālaḥ parākrame ||

Translation

ドゥルヨーダナは言った。「勇士たちよ、そなたらの心が戦への大いなる決意に満ちているのは、少しも不思議ではない。わが身への深い忠誠もまた明らかである。だが、武勇を示すべき時は今ではない。」
