द्वैपायनह्रदे दुर्योधनान्वेषणम् / The Search for Duryodhana at Dvaipāyana Lake
संवाहयितवांश्वापि राजदारानू् पुरं प्रति । तत्पश्चात् उसने रथपर बैठाकर तुरंत ही अपने घोड़े बढ़ाये और राजकुलकी स्त्रियोंको राजधानीमें पहुँचा दिया
saṃvāhayitavāṃś cāpi rājadarān puraṃ prati | tatpaścāt sa rathopari āropya tūrṇaṃ svān aśvān pravartayāmāsa, rājakuṭumbastriyaś ca rājadhānīṃ prāpitaḥ |
サञ्जयは語った。彼は王家の女たちをも都へと護送した。ついで直ちに彼女らを車に乗せ、馬をただちに駆り立て、王族の女たちが無事に王都へ着くよう取り計らった。この一幕は、戦乱のさなかにあっても弱き者を守ることが武人の務めであると示している。
