“महात्मा विदुरने जो बात कही है, उसके अनुसार मैं उस दुरात्माके सम्पूर्ण निश्चयको आज जानता हूँ ।।
yo hi śrutvā vacaḥ pathyaṃ jāmadagnyād yathātatham | avāmanyata durbuddhir dhruvaṃ nāśamukhe sthitaḥ ||
「大徳ヴィドゥラの語ったとおり、今日わたしはあの邪悪なる者の決意のすべてを知った。ジャーマダグニャ（パラシュラーマ）が真実のままに、しかも益ある教えとして告げた言葉を聞きながら、なお歪んだ理解ゆえにそれを侮る者は、まさしく滅亡の口元に立っている。」
