स यात्वा वाहिनी तूर्णमब्रवीत् त्वरयन् युधि । युद्धयध्वमिति संहृष्टा: पुनः पुनररिंदमा:
sa yātvā vāhinīṁ tūrṇam abravīt tvarayan yudhi | yudhyadhvam iti saṁhṛṣṭāḥ punaḥ punar ariṁdamāḥ ||
サञ्जयは言った。彼は急ぎ軍へ赴き、戦のただ中で彼らを促して、幾度も「戦え！」と叫んだ。かくして敵を屈せしめる勇士たちは昂ぶりを掻き立てられ、繰り返し戦へと駆り立てられた。
