The verse highlights the ethical weight of disciplined training: knowledge received from a teacher (Droṇa) is validated by controlled, excellent execution. Even in war, mastery is portrayed as the fruit of instruction, practice, and adherence to one’s kṣatriya craft.
Sañjaya describes a great warrior demonstrating the diverse techniques learned from Droṇa by unleashing a rapid, well-aimed, and varied barrage of arrows on the battlefield.
