Śalya–Yudhiṣṭhira Duel and the Discharge of the Śakti (शल्यवधप्रसङ्गः)
ततः प्रहर्ष: सैन्यानां पुनरासीत् तदा मृथे । पज्चालानां सोमकानां मत्स्यानां च विशेषत:
tataḥ praharṣaḥ sainyānāṃ punar āsīt tadā mṛdhe | pāñcālānāṃ somakānāṃ matsyānāṃ ca viśeṣataḥ ||
サンジャヤは言った。そのとき戦場において、軍勢の間に再び歓喜の波が起こった――とりわけパーンダヴァ軍において、ことにパンチャーラ、ソーマカ、そしてマツヤの戦士たちの間で顕著であった。
संजय उवाच
Even amid the harshness of war, collective morale strongly shapes action: renewed confidence and unity among allies can restore resolve to pursue what they believe to be their dharmic cause.
Sañjaya reports that on the battlefield the Pāṇḍava side experiences renewed exhilaration—particularly the Pāñcāla, Somaka, and Matsya contingents—indicating a turning of spirit and momentum in their ranks.
