Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

balibhiḥ pāṇḍavair daptair labdhalakṣaiḥ prahāribhiḥ |

kauravy asīdat pṛtanā mṛgīvāgnisamākulā ||

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。「剛勇のパーンダヴァたち—武の誇り高く、狙い外さず、打ち込みに巧み—に打たれて、カウラヴァ軍は崩れ始めた。さながら猛る山火事に囲まれた雌鹿のようであった。」
