क्रुद्धेन द्रोणपुत्रेण संछन्ना: प्रापतन् भुवि । यक्षों तथा राक्षसोंसे भरे हुए एवं रथों
sañjaya uvāca | kruddhena droṇaputreṇa saṃchannāḥ prāpatan bhuvi | bhrātṝn anye pitṝn anye putrān anye vicukruśuḥ ||
サञ्जयは語った。ドローナの子の憤怒に覆われ、多くの者が大地に倒れ伏した。ある者は兄弟を、ある者は父を、またある者は子を呼び叫ぶ――血縁と悲嘆の声が、殺戮のただ中に立ちのぼった。
