विस्तीर्णा योजनशतं शतमध्यर्धमायता । वैहायसी कामगमा पञ्चयोजनमुच्छिता,उसकी लंबाई डेढ़ सौ और चौड़ाई सौ योजनकी है। वह आकाशगमें विचरनेवाली और इच्छाके अनुसार तीव्र या मन्द गतिसे चलनेवाली है। उसकी ऊँचाई भी पाँच योजनकी है

Transliteration

vistīrṇā yojanaśataṁ śatam-adhyardham āyatā | vaihāyasī kāmagamā pañcayojanam ucchritā ||

Translation

ナーラダは驚異の空行の乗り物を語る。幅は百由旬、長さは百五十由旬。天を行き、乗り手の意のままに疾くも緩やかにも進み、さらに五由旬の高さにまで昇る。ここには、王者あるいは神々の資具が持つ途方もない規模と力が示され、『सभा』の物語においてそれが繁栄と威信の徴であると同時に、節制と正しい用い方を試すものでもあることが語られている。
