याज्ञसेनी-प्रश्नः
Draupadī’s Question in the Assembly
मालाकार इवारामे स्नेहं कुर्वन् पुनः पुन: । अन्यथा उन पक्षियोंकी हिंसा करनेवाले राजाकी भाँति आपको भी मोहवश पकश्चात्ताप करना पड़ेगा। इस द्रोहले आपका उसी तरह सर्वनाश हो जायगा, जैसे बंसीका काँटा निगल लेनेसे मछलीका नाश हो जाता है। भरतकुलभूषण! जैसे माली उद्यानके वृक्षोंको बार-बार सींचता रहता है और समय-समयपर उनसे खिले पुष्पोंको चुनता भी रहता है, उसी प्रकार आप पाण्डवरूपी वृक्षोंको स्नेहजलसे सींचते हुए उनसे उत्पन्न होनेवाले धनरूपी पुष्पोंको लेते रहिये

ヴィドゥラは王に告げる――遊苑の庭師のように振る舞われよ。庭師は幾度も幾度も慈しみと心配りをもって草木に水を注ぎ、季節が来れば咲き出た花を摘み取る。同じく陛下も、善意と守護という「水」でパーンダヴァたちを養い続け、しかるべき時に彼らから生まれる繁栄という「花」を受け取られよ。のちに迷妄と悔恨と滅亡を招く背信へと傾いてはならぬ。
