Nārada’s Examination of Royal Ethics
कच्चिदर्थेषु सम्प्रौढान् हितकामाननुप्रियान् । नापकर्षसि कर्मभ्य: पूर्वमप्राप्प किल्बिषम्,किन्हीं कार्योमें नियुक्त किये हुए प्रौढ़, हितैषी एवं प्रिय कर्मचारियोंको पहले उनके किसी अपराधको जाँच किये बिना तुम कामसे अलग तो नहीं कर देते हो?
kaccid artheṣu samprauḍhān hitakāmān anupriyān | nāpakarṣasi karmabhyaḥ pūrvam aprāpya kilbiṣam ||
ナーラダは問うた。「国政と財の事において、そなたは、老成して経験深く、そなたの益を願い、そなたに愛される官人たちを、まず真に過失を犯したと確かめもせずに職務から退けることはないか。言い換えれば、忠実で有能な奉仕者を、その咎を正しく究明する前に罷免することを避けているか。」
