वैशम्पायन उवाच ततः कुरूणामृषभो महात्मा श्र॒ुत्वा गिरो ब्राह्मणसत्तमस्य । प्रणम्य पादावभिवाद्य तुष्टो राजाब्रवीन्नारदं देवरूपम्‌

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: tataḥ kurūṇām ṛṣabho mahātmā śrutvā giro brāhmaṇasattamasya | praṇamya pādāv abhivādya tuṣṭo rājābravīn Nāradaṃ devarūpam ||

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。かくして、俱盧の雄たる大心の王は、その最勝の婆羅門の言葉を聞き終えると、足下にひれ伏して礼拝し、恭しく挨拶した。満ち足りた王は、神々しき姿に現れたナーラダに向かって言葉を発した。
