Adhyāya 45 — Duryodhana’s Distress, Śakuni’s Counsel, and the Summons for Dyūta
तथा ब्रुवत एवास्य भगवान् मधुसूदन: । मनसाचिन्तयच्चक्रं दैत्यवर्गनिष्दनम्,शिशुपाल इस तरहकी बातें कर ही रहा था कि भगवान् मधुसूदनने मन-ही-मन दैत्यवर्गविनाशक सुदर्शन चक्रका स्मरण किया
vaiśampāyana uvāca | tathā bruvata evāsya bhagavān madhusūdanaḥ | manasā cintayac cakraṃ daityavarga-niṣūdanam ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。彼がなおそのように語り続けているまさにその時、福徳具足のマドゥスーダナ（Madhusūdana）は心中にて、阿修羅の群を滅ぼすスダルシャナ・チャクラ（Sudarśana Cakra）を呼び起こした。
