Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | pāṇḍavaḥ paravīraghnaḥ sahadevaḥ pratāpavān | tato 'sya sumahad yuddham āsīd bhīrubhayaṅkaram |

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。パーンダヴァのサハデーヴァは威光ある勇士、敵の英雄を討つ者であった。やがて彼の前に、臆病者を震え上がらせるほどの大戦が起こった。
