Samrāt-Lakṣaṇa and the Counsel to Check Jarāsandha (सम्राट्-लक्षणं जरासन्ध-प्रतिबाधा-परामर्शः)

अभिभूय श्रियं तेषां कुलानामभिषेचित: । स्थितो मूर्थ्नि नरेन्द्राणामोजसा55क्रम्य सर्वश:,राजन्‌! अभी-अभी भूपाल जरासंध उन समस्त क्षत्रियकुलोंकी राजलक्ष्मीको लाँधकर राजाओंद्वारा सम्राटके पदपर अभिषिक्त हुआ है और वह अपने बल-पराक्रमसे सबपर आक्रमण करके समस्त राजाओंका सिरमौर हो रहा है

abhibhūya śriyaṃ teṣāṃ kulānām abhiṣecitaḥ | sthito mūrdhni narendrāṇām ojasā kramya sarvaśaḥ, rājan |

王よ、かの諸族の王運を踏み越え、かき消して、ジャラーサンダは諸王自身の手により帝位へ灌頂された。諸侯の頭上に立つがごとく、ただ武力によって四方へ進み、万邦を攻め、みずからを諸王の最上に据える――それはダルマに拠らず、圧倒的支配に拠る覇権である。
