एतस्मात् कारणाद राजन हरिश्नन्द्रो विराजते । तेभ्यो राजसहस्रेभ्यस्तद् विद्धि भरतर्षभ,राजन! भरतश्रेष्ठ। यही कारण है कि उन सहस्रों राजाओंकी अपेक्षा महाराज हरिश्रन्द्र अधिक सम्मानपूर्वक इन्द्रसभामें विराजमान होते हैं--इस बातको तुम अच्छी तरह जान लो
etasmāt kāraṇād rājan hariścandro virājate | tebhyo rājasahasrebhyas tad viddhi bharatarṣabha ||
まさにこのゆえに、王よ、ハリシュチャンドラは格別の威光をもって輝くのだ。よく知れ、バーラタ族の雄牛よ――幾千の王らに比して、マハーラージャ・ハリシュチャンドラはインドラの सभा において、より大いなる栄誉をもって座している。
