Chapter 5: Dāruka’s Mission, Balarāma’s Yogic Departure, and Kṛṣṇa’s Niṣkramaṇa
ततोडर्जुनस्तानामन्त्रय केशवस्य प्रिय: सखा । प्रययौ मातुल द्रष्ट नेदमस्तीति चाब्रवीत्,तत्पश्चात् श्रीकृष्णके प्रिय सखा अर्जुन अपने भाइयोंसे पूछकर मामासे मिलनेके लिये चल दिये और बोले--'ऐसा नहीं हुआ होगा (समस्त यदुवंशियोंका एक साथ विनाश असम्भव है)”
tato ’rjunas tān āmantrya keśavasya priyaḥ sakhā | prayayau mātulaṃ draṣṭuṃ nedam astīti cābravīt ||
そののち、ケーシャヴァの愛しき友アर्जुनは彼らに別れを告げ、母方の叔父に会うため旅立った。出立に際して彼は言った。「そんなはずはない」——ヤドゥの一族がことごとく同時に滅びたなど、初めは受け入れられなかったのである。
