それから彼女たちは彼を抱き起こし、黄金の腰掛けに座らせた。大いなる魂のその人を取り囲み、近くに侍しながらも一言も発せず—敬意と自制、そして胸に秘めた悲嘆を沈黙のうちに保っていた。

Educational Q&A

The verse highlights dignified restraint (saṃyama) and respectful service: in moments of sorrow or crisis, silence and attentive presence can be a form of dharmic conduct, honoring the suffering person without adding agitation through words.

After an event that leaves Arjuna in a condition needing support, the women (implied by the feminine plural) lift him, seat him on a golden stool, and gather around him. They do not speak; instead, they remain near him in quiet attendance.
