वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse presents a phalaśruti: sincere, continual devotional recitation of a sacred compendium is said to yield tangible and social goods—prosperity (wealth and provisions) and reputation—affirmed with emphatic certainty.
Vaiśampāyana concludes or endorses a section by praising the merit of reciting the text itself, assuring listeners that devoted readers gain auspicious results and that the claim is not to be doubted.
