संजय कहते हैं--राजन्! जब कर्ण मारा गया और शत्रुसेना भाग चली, तब दशाहईनन्दन भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण अर्जुनको हृदयसे लगाकर बड़े हर्षके साथ इस प्रकार बोले --
sañjaya uvāca—rājan! yadā karṇo hataḥ śatrusenā ca palāyitā, tadā daśārhanandano bhagavān śrīkṛṣṇo ’rjunaṃ hṛdayena pariṣvajya mahāharṣeṇaivam uvāca—
サンジャヤは言った――王よ！ カルナが討たれ、敵軍が崩れて逃げ散ったとき、至福なる主シュリー・クリシュナ――ダシャールハ族の歓び――はアルジュナを胸に抱き寄せ、心より抱擁して、大いなる歓喜のうちにこのように語った――。
