न्यायेन युध्यमानौ हि तद्‌ वै सत्यं ब्रवीमि ते । मैंने यह समाचार भी सुना था कि भीष्म और द्रोणाचार्य मार गिराये गये

Transliteration

nyāyena yudhyamānau hi tad vai satyaṃ bravīmi te |

Translation

もしあの二人——ビーシュマとドローナ——が正義にかなって、戦の規範に従って戦っていたならば、これは真実として汝に告げるが、誰人も彼らを打ち破ることはできぬ。雷霆の金剛杵を執るインドラでさえ、彼らが正しき戦いに身を置く限り、ビーシュマとドローナを討つことは叶わぬであろう。
