कृत्वा शून्यान्‌ रथोपस्थान्‌ वाजिपृष्ठांक्ष भारत

kṛtvā śūnyān rathopasthān vājipṛṣṭhāṃś ca bhārata

サンジャヤは言った。「おおバーラタ(ドリタラーシュトラ)よ。戦車の踏み台は空となり、馬の背もまた空しく—もはやいかなる戦士も車上に留まることも、馬に跨ることもできぬほどに—それでも凄絶な戦いはなお続いた。」
