तांस्तथाभिमुखान् वीरान् मित्रार्थे त्यक्तजीवितान् । क्षयं नयति राधेय: पञज्चालाछ्छतशो रणे,“जो अपने मित्रके लिये प्राणोंका मोह छोड़कर शत्रुके सामने खड़े होकर जूझ रहे हैं, उन सैकड़ों पांचालवीरोंको कर्ण रणभूमिमें नष्ट कर रहा है
tāṁs tathābhimukhān vīrān mitrārthe tyaktajīvitān | kṣayaṁ nayati rādheyaḥ pañcālāñ chatśo raṇe ||
