सहस्राणि च योधानां त्वामेव पुरुषोत्तम | क्रोशन्ति समरे वीर द्राव्यमाणानि पाण्डवै:

sahasrāṇi ca yodhānāṃ tvām eva puruṣottama | krośanti samare vīra drāvyamāṇāni pāṇḍavaiḥ ||

サンジャヤは言った。「おおプルショーत्तマよ。この戦いで、パーンダヴァたちに追い立てられて逃げ惑う幾千の戦士が、ただあなた一人を呼び求めて叫んでいる。勇士よ、潰走の恐怖のただ中で、彼らはあなたの力に庇護を求めているのだ。」
