Transliteration

akrośanta tataḥ sarve dhārtarāṣṭrāḥ sa-rājakāḥ

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。すると、ドリタラーシュトラの子らは皆、その王とともに、怒りと非難の叫び声を上げた。この一句は、戦において驕りと恐れの後にしばしば訪れる道義の崩れを捉える。事が不利に転じると、克己と洞察に代わって、苛烈な言葉と責め合いが噴き出すのである。
