तस्य ज्यातलनिर्घोषं श्रुत्वाशनिसमस्वनम्‌

tasya jyātalanirghoṣaṃ śrutvāśanisamasvanam

サञ्जयは言った。彼の弓弦が鳴り渡る轟音—稲妻の咆哮にも似た響き—を聞いて、戦士たちは、恐るべき射手が弓を引き絞ったのだと悟った。
