निवत्तैश्न पुनः पार्थर्भग्नं शत्रुबलं महत् । कौरवान् द्रवतो होष कर्णो रोधयते<र्जुन
sañjaya uvāca | nivṛttaiḥ punaḥ pārthaiḥ bhagnaṃ śatrubalaṃ mahat | kauravān dravato hoṣa karṇo rodhayate 'rjuna ||
サンジャヤは言った。「おおアルジュナよ、見よ！ ふたたび引き返したパーンドゥの戦士たちは、敵の巨大な軍勢を打ち砕き、その勢いを断ち切った。さらに見よ――逃げ散るクル族の戦士たちを、いまカルナが食い止めている。」
