Arjuna’s targeted advance; Śalya–Karṇa dialogue; interception attempts
एवं ब्रुवंस्तदा कृष्णो ययौ यत्र युधिष्ठिर: । अर्जुनश्नापि नृपतेर्दर्शनार्थ महारणे
evaṁ bruvaṁs tadā kṛṣṇo yayau yatra yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | arjunaś cāpi nṛpater darśanārthaṁ mahāraṇe ||
サञ्जयは語った。かく語りつつ、クリシュナはユディシュティラのいる所へ向かった。アルジュナもまた、その大戦のさなか王に会うため、ユディシュティラが陣する地点へと進んだ。この詩句は、戦乱のただ中における意志ある行動を示す。戦の騒擾の中にあっても、指導者は直に会い、助言と確信を得て、ダルマにかなう正しい立ち位置を求めるのである。
