वैजयन्तीर्विचित्राश्ष हतांक्ष गजवाजिन: । “जिनकी जीभें बाहर निकल आयी हैं
vaijayantīr vicitrāś ca hatāṃś ca gajavājinaḥ |
サンジャヤは言った。「色とりどりのヴァイジャヤンティーの旗は砕け散って地に伏し、象も馬も討たれていた――戦場の荒廃を告げる徴である。そこでは軍勢の誇りが崩れ落ち、暴力の代償が疑いようもなく露わとなるのだ。」
