Educational Q&A

Even in the chaos of battle, effective action is shown as guided by higher discernment and purposeful leadership—here symbolized by Keśava directing the horses—suggesting that agency, when aligned with right counsel, shapes outcomes amid moral conflict.

Sañjaya describes the chariot’s movement: the team of white horses, decorated with gold, is being urged on under Keśava’s direction, emphasizing Kṛṣṇa’s active role as charioteer and guide in the unfolding combat.
