Transliteration

karṇas tu sātyakiṃ jitvā rājagṛddhī mahābalaḥ

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。「大いなる力を備え、王者の野望に駆られるカルナは、サーティヤキを打ち破るや、なお前へと押し進んだ。」その勝利は戦の急務に応えると同時に、覇権への渇望をも満たしたのである。
